The Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority has announced an RFP for companies to lease and operate three of VVWRA’s existing digesters. Each digester holds 330,000 gallons. VVWRA is looking for a private company that can repurpose the digesters to convert food waste, FOG (fats, oil and grease), and other anaerobically digestible materials into biogas for energy production. Interested companies must attend a Pre-Proposal Meeting on April 25. BAC members receive additional points in the scoring criteria, so please consider joining if you are not already a BAC member.
